WebSite Links
Thanks much for visiting us! Here are a few of the sites around the web that we recommend.
The Official Luthiers Forum
This is a great site for builders who are looking for good friendly conversation, lots of information and good resources for builders both new and experienced.
13th Fret Guitar Forum
Another great resource for guitar builders and players.
Stewart-MacDonald
Probably the largest online retailer for all things guitar makers need.
Luthiers Mercantile International
I buy almost all of my backs and sides from LMI and make regular trips to their store to pick through wood.
Allied Lutherie Ltd.
Probably the finest collection of tone woods in the business,
when I'm looking from something special I go here.
Wingert Guitars
You have to have Hero's, Kathy is not only a great Luthier but she's also a great person, we have started having her daughter Jimmi do all our intricate inlay.
Olson Guitars
Olson guitars in my eyes are the pinnacle of art and technology,
every one I have seen has been flawless and sounded awesome.
Mr Olson also has a distinguished list of clients include
Phil Keaggy who is one of my favorite players of all time.
Phil Keaggy's Home Page
I've been a fan of Mr Keaggy since the early 80's, I had
the chance to see him again at the Healdsburg Guitar Festival
and he continues to innovate and amaze. I have never seen
a guitarist as versatile as Phil is, I took along a friend
to the show who himself is very accomplished (see the
artists section) and he was blown away by how good Mr
Keaggy was.
Muriel Anderson's Home Page
WOW is the only way I can describe her playing, considered by many to be the premier finger style guitarist, I find her music very melodic and emotional. Some players can invoke a mood or a feeling into their music and I certainly put her in that category, it's than just being a great technical player, it's what she imparts to the listener.
